What to expect
- Rafting the Balsa river, class II and III: 13 kilometres and 22 rapids.
- It is the level that works for families and first-timers, with the volcano behind you.
- Halfway down there is a stop on the bank where the guides prepare fresh fruit.
- For anything stronger, they also run the Toro river, class III and IV.
