- Family Costa Rican cooking, 700 metres south of the sports centre.
- Alberto and Mayela Pérez Chaves run it, and the menu was put together by Sonia Conejo, the matriarch of the house.
- Casado, rice with chicken, chicharrones with pico de gallo, tortillas, beans and fried yuca, chickpeas with chicken and baked tilapia in seafood sauce.
- Drip-brewed café chorreado and tropical fruit cocktails made with the house tequila.

- Open every day from noon to 9 at night. Worth booking a day ahead.
- The same family runs La Tabernita Tiquicia, a tavern with a traditional menu and rock and metal from the seventies to the nineties.
